Dr Pohan Lukito

Pohan completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2007. He then underwent his basic physician training at the Austin and Northern Hospitals, and his clinical and laboratory haematology training at Alfred Health, Monash Medical Centre, and the Northern Hospital. He has a broad experience in managing patients with malignant and non-malignant haematology; including acute and chronic leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome and lymphoma. Having been trained at the major tertiary haematology centres, he is also proficient in caring for patients with blood clot and bleeding disorders.

As a haematologist, Pohan believes in holistic approach to his patients’ care. He strives to provide the best evidence-based management plans. He attends national and international haematology meetings to get the most recent updates in his field of interests. Pohan has also presented in local haematology meetings as well as national haematology conferences in Australia.

 

Pohan is married, and in his spare time he enjoys watching movies and exploring different culinary experiences.
